South China Morning Post wins 4 prizes for digital excellence at the WAN-IFRA Asian Digital Media Awards

HONG KONG, November 30, 2012 – Hong Kong’s premier English language newspaper South China Morning Post is proud to announce that it has won four top awards in the Asian Digital Media Awards held in Kuala Lumpur on 28 November.

The awards, under the auspices of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and in conjunction with Digital Media Asia, include:

It has been a year of awards for the South China Morning Post. It picked up 11 awards in the Society of Publishers in Asia Editorial Awards 2012. It also took 10 awards at the Human Rights Press Awards, as well as nine awards in the Society of News Design’s news design competition.
