HONG KONG, 29 September 2016 – Tickets to Starstreet Gourmet & Wine Walk, a highly anticipated fixture in Hong Kong’s leisure landscape, is open for sale now. Organised by Swire Properties Limited and powered by SCMP Marketing Solutions for seven years in a row, it looks set to bring to foodies and revelers a whole day of culinary delights and outdoor fun at the Starstreet Precinct, the area around Three Pacific Place in Wan Chai.
From 2-6pm on October 22, 2016 (Saturday), 33 F&B establishments and lifestyle boutiques – including Elephants Grounds, Giando and Maison es – will join hands to greet ticket holders in the colourfully-adorned Starstreet and turn the neighbourhood into a definitive gastronomic and lifestyle destination. On top of exquisite wine and savoury dishes, Starstreet Gourmet & Wine Walk will offer a new series of art-themed workshops such as a calligraphy demonstration by Stella Wong and Rena Lo, whose mastery of Chinese and Japanese-style calligraphy is awe-inspiring, and a workshop on creating terrariums – a “plant in a sealed jar” – by Puff Terrariums. At the Glass Senses Class, sponsored by Lucaris, visitors will learn how to appreciate wine through crystal glass; Mak’s Beer will demonstrate how they brew their signature craft beer; List Cup will demonstrate how to evaluate brewed coffee with coffee cupping procedures and offer complimentary ice-dripped coffee; and Lola’s Icepops will provide a complimentary handmade artisan ice lolly for each participant.
Starstreet Gourmet & Wine Walk will also offer plenty of fun and surprises. Visitors can look forward to mini game booths such as the popular Stand-a-bottle and Giant Plinko, the latter offering the grand prize of a travel voucher from Swire Travel and a semi-buffet dinner from EAST, Hong Kong. Two renowned local bands Dear Jane and Per Se will enliven the area with captivating live performances.
Visit events.scmp.com/starstreet to get hold of early bird tickets at HK$280 per person, on offer until September 29. Afterwards, the regular price will be HK$360 per person and HK$280 per person for group of four or more.

The Starstreet Precinct, centred around Three Pacific Place and comprising mainly Star Street, Moon Street, Sun Street, and Wing Fung Street, is a destination for those who prefer unique lifestyle choices. Back in the 1900s, it was the location of Hong Kong Electric’s power plant in Wan Chai. Today, the precinct has evolved into an emerging dining area with strong artistic overtones, thanks to a group of creative talents, designers and free-thinking restaurateurs who have filled the area with cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, florists and home design outlets. Together with a thoughtfully landscaped environment and a Three Pacific Place Link connecting the precinct to the rest of the Pacific Place complex, these shops have turned the area into a Hong Kong lifestyle community.
