Bali, (July 17, 2026) – Organised by the South China Morning Post in partnership with Danantara Indonesia, the Nusa Dua Forum 2026 marked an important step in Bali’s transformation from holiday destination to a rising international financial centre. Held at The St. Regis Bali Resort on July 17, the summit brought together around 120 prominent investors, family office leaders, sovereign fund operators and policymakers from across the region.
Taking place amid a historic intergenerational wealth transfer in Asia, the Forum served as a vital platform for discussing new capital flows, investment opportunities, policy reform and Indonesia’s growing economic leadership in Southeast Asia. The day was set in motion by influential remarks from government and industry figures.
