Account Manager, Subscriptions - Enterprise Subscriptions & Partnerships

Purpose of the position:

Handle SCMP individual subscriptions in Hong Kong and overseas markets to achieve individual subscription sales targets. Close new sales, retain and grow existing individual accounts, and cross-sell with other SCMP business units. Provide professional and best-in-class customer services to individual subscribers. 

 

In this role, you will: 

  • Retain and expand individual subscriptions in Hong Kong and overseas markets to achieve aggressive renewal revenue target.
  • Ensure customer excellence and maintain strong relationships with individual subscribers to reduce churn rate.
  • Follow up sales leads, maintain high conversion rate and achieve sales target of individual subscriptions.
  • Manage sales activities including emails, calls, onboarding arrangement and ongoing customer engagement. 
  • Input order data accurately and timely.
  • Keep customer records updated and timely.
  • Keep track with customer needs and requirements and thus, provide input to product, content, and marketing teams to improve future product offerings.

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

  • BA/BS degree or higher 
  • 2+ years of experience working in a digital or retail sales role
  • Experience in business intelligence or subscription business is definitely an asset
  • Strong sales technique, communication and presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working independently and delivering sales targets
  • Bilingual - English and Cantonese is a must
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce and Excel is a plus

 

Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
