QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer - Product & Technology

You will work on our world-class consumer-facing digital products as well as state-of-the-art internal products that serve the organization.  You will be on  Agile teams  conducting manual and automation tests against new and existing digital properties and mobile apps.  You should be an experienced QA professional possess understanding of QA methodology and test scripting. We are looking for someone technical and flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to handle the testing demands in each production release cycle.

In this role, you will: 

  • Communicate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineers to define and understand user story acceptance criteria and test cases
  • Develops test plans, testing resource requirements, and overall scheduling of testing activity.
  • Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing.
  • Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
  • Builds and maintains automated testing process and execution
  • Monitors and tracks resolution of defects
  • Designs, monitors, and analyses quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status
  • Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques
  • Works with web engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

  • 3 years+ relevant experience as a QA engineer
  • Good understanding of test case management, version control & defect tracking 
  • Solid experience, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing
  • Working knowledge of scripting and command line tools, JavaScript  is a huge plus
  • Experience in working in Agile SCRUM team is  a plus 
  • Experience in working with testing automation tools
  • Willing to learn and explore new technologies 
  • Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why'.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
