Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver coverage of Chinese consumer technology for a global audience
  • Write stories in text and video form looking at what's interesting in China tech and why  
  • Cover everything from the latest apps, to big-picture consumer trends, to gadget reviews  
  • Focus on China's booming and vibrant gaming scene, with a strong knowledge of the country's top developers, games, and esports players
  • Bring a global perspective, bringing greater context to help people understand who the big names are, what's happening, and why it's happening

  

Job Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in technology or related areas
  • Deep knowledge of gaming, gadgets and technology required
  • Experience with breaking news, and strong news judgement, with passion for social me-dia, comfortable with real-time online reporting environment
  • Strong team player that can work under stress and meet deadlines on a day-to-day ba-sis
  • Good English writing skills, Mandarin/Cantonese speaker is preferred
  • Ability to work with video (both in front of and behind the camera)

 

Work location will be at Causeway Bay office
