Assistant Manager, Programmatic Partnership - Advertising & Marketing Solutions

Purpose of the position:

  • SCMP is looking for a Assistant Manager, Programmatic Partnership who leads the development of global programmatic strategy and also identifies opportunities to enhance our ad stack, to create revenue opportunities for our display, video and native advertising. Reporting into the Product, Innovation and Partnerships function, you will work internally with the Ad Operations and Revenue & Reporting team to make optimization recommendations and report success, and externally with SSPs and ad tech partners to obtain market intel and up-to-date solutions to enhance our ability to monetize inventory. You will help the business stay on the edge of the ad tech industry and to understand and prepare for any upcoming trends.
Job Responsibilities

  • Develop global programmatic strategy to drive incremental revenue for the business
  • Monitor and maximize OMP monetization and report performance on a regular basis.
  • Lead the partnerships between SCMP and programmatic demand partners. Conduct ongoing reviews to ensure they drive value and continuous success.
  • Manage inventory supply to SSPs and 3rd Party Vendors, including new partners RFIs.
  • Help manage the SCMP ad stack including, headerbiding setup, price floors and priorities etc.
  • Make recommendations to optimize SCMP digital ad products, including display, video and native advertising.
  • Keep the business informed on ad tech development and emerging trends, and provide education to the wider sales organization.
Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic advertising in a digital media company
  • Outstanding analytical skills. Ability to handle a vast volume of data, derive actionable insight and present it in an effective manner
  • Strong decision-making, and problem solving skills; sharp attention to detail.
  • Solid experience in technical troubleshooting, A/B testing, conducting POC.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts, often to audiences with relatively little know-how of such topics. Able to manage internal relationships is essential.
  • Experience in operating programmatic, ad serving and analytic platforms (SSPs, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, etc) is a huge advantage
  • Knowledge in programming (e.g. Python, SQL, etc) is a plus
  • Proficient in spoken and written English

  Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
